Founded in 1994, SunExpress Logistics was formed to support its sister company, SunExpress Carriers a 100% Employee Owned Company (ESOP), by efficiently using technology to determine their true capacity in the marketplace while also holding dedicated contracts and brokering the fulfillment of these contracts to their many assets. In 2011 Quickway Carriers acquired three other asset-based companies.

In 2016, to effectively manage all of the asset companies, a holding company was formed, Paladin Capital Inc.
 
In 2018, as capacity began to tighten, SunExpress Logistics was restructured, to manage all the available capacity of the Paladin Capital asset Companies. The decision was also made to have SunExpress Logistics leverage the available capacity on the open market.
